Are Custom Concrete Tables Good for Dining Rooms?
Yes. Custom concrete tables combine distinctive design with the durability needed for everyday dining and entertaining. A handcrafted concrete tabletop can be customized to complement the size, style, and character of your dining space.
Custom concrete tables offer homeowners:
- A distinctive, handcrafted alternative to mass-produced furniture
- Customization for different rooms and design styles
- A versatile surface for everyday meals and special occasions
- The strength and durability associated with concrete
- A statement piece that can remain part of the home for years
Ortmann Concrete's Bellattex™ collection brings the craftsmanship of decorative concrete indoors, creating tabletops designed for gathering, entertaining, and everyday living.
Some of the best holiday memories happen around a table.
It's where Thanksgiving dinner is served, Christmas cookies are decorated, old stories get retold, new family members are welcomed, and someone inevitably brings up the story everyone else has heard at least 25 times.
decorative concrete tabletops
That's one of the things that makes custom concrete tabletops from Ortmann Concrete's Bellattex™ collection so special. Handcrafted to combine artistry with everyday durability, Bellattex tables provide a beautiful centerpiece for holiday celebrations—and a piece designed to remain part of your home long after the decorations come down.
A Custom Concrete Dining Table Built for Gathering
During most of the year, your dining table may accommodate weeknight dinners, homework, morning coffee, and everything else that happens in a busy household.
Then the holidays arrive.
Suddenly, that same table needs room for serving dishes, centerpieces, extra place settings, desserts, drinks, and the people who make the season worth celebrating.
A custom concrete dining tabletop can be created specifically for the room and the way your family lives. Rather than selecting a mass-produced table with predetermined dimensions, Bellattex allows homeowners to create a piece with the proportions, appearance, and character they envision for their space.
The result is a table that's equally at home beneath an elegant holiday tablescape or surrounded by family on an ordinary Tuesday evening.
Make the Table Part of Your Holiday Decorating
One of the advantages of a custom concrete table top is its versatility.
Concrete provides texture and visual interest without competing with the things you place on it. During autumn, it can provide a backdrop for warm colors, pumpkins, greenery, candles, and natural elements. As winter approaches, switch to evergreen branches, metallic accents, glass, ornaments, or traditional holiday colors.
Prefer something simple? A beautiful concrete surface doesn't require much decoration at all.
That versatility also means you aren't choosing a table that works with only one decorating style. Whether your home leans toward traditional, contemporary, rustic, industrial, or somewhere comfortably in between, decorative concrete tabletops can be customized to complement the surrounding space.
From Thanksgiving Dinner to Christmas Brunch
Holiday entertaining doesn't always mean a formal dinner.
Maybe your family gathers around the table for Thanksgiving but prefers a casual Christmas morning brunch. Perhaps friends come over for appetizers and drinks in December. Maybe the grandchildren descend on the house armed with frosting, sprinkles, construction paper, and enough glitter to ensure you'll still be finding it in July.
Bellattex concrete-top tables are designed to be beautiful, but also to be used.
A spacious table can transition from dinner to dessert display, brunch buffet, game night, or holiday craft station as the occasion demands. Instead of treating the table like something too precious to touch, it can become part of the activity happening around it.
And that's really the point.
Custom Concrete Coffee Tables Bring the Celebration into the Rest of Your Home Too
The dining room isn't the only place where people gather during the holidays.
A custom concrete coffee tabletop or end table can bring the distinctive look of Bellattex into a living room, family room, a finished lower level, or entertainment area. It's an ideal place for appetizers before dinner, coffee and dessert afterward, or drinks and conversation beside the Christmas tree.
Because Bellattex pieces are handcrafted, homeowners aren't limited to a one-size-fits-all approach. A coffee table can be designed to complement the size and character of the room while coordinating beautifully with other materials already in the space.
We also design concrete sidebars, kitchen countertops, and outdoor tabletops! Wherever you need an attractive surface to serve food or drink from, even just to place decorative items on, we’ve got you covered.
A Table as Individual as the Home Around It
Concrete might not be the first material people imagine when they think about fine furniture—and that's precisely what makes Bellattex interesting.
In the hands of experienced concrete craftsmen, concrete becomes something entirely different from the material beneath a driveway or patio.
Bellattex custom concrete tabletops showcase the artistic possibilities of concrete through carefully handcrafted surfaces designed for residential and commercial spaces. Variations in texture and appearance give each piece its own character rather than the uniform appearance of factory-made furniture.
Your table isn't simply pulled from a warehouse.
It is created for you.
A Piece That Becomes Part of the Story
Think about the tables you remember from childhood.
Chances are, you don't remember them because they were trendy. You remember who sat around them.
That's the real beauty of investing in a distinctive piece of furniture for your home. Over time, the table becomes connected to birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, Sunday dinners, conversations, celebrations, and ordinary evenings that didn't seem important until years later.
A custom concrete dining table top can be a functional work of art, but its real value comes from what happens around it.
This holiday season may be where the story begins.
