Learn how to remove rust stains from concrete in minutes using our amazing concrete rust remover.
- Clean dirt from surface to be de-rusted. Always use rubber gloves when working with the rust remover. Rust remover works best over dry concrete. Do not leave on the surface too long or allow it to dry as it will leave white staining on the surface.
- Immediately spread generously on rust stain using a simple paint brush, or for larger areas use a long handled, plastic scrub brush. After mixing with water, rust removing ability declines over time. It loses about half of its activity in four hours. Let stand 15 minutes or longer depending on the severity of the stain. In most cases, simply hose rust away completely with a forceful steam of water. A pressure washer is recommended with a 3,000 psi or less equipped with a green tip (25-degree angle). Repeat as needed and apply a little brushing action if necessary.
