On their first day in business on August 25, 2003, founders Doug and Jacqui Ortmann of Ortmann Concrete Inc. made the promise to themselves and to their clients that they would remain focused on quality service and beautiful results, giving their clients their best work every single time.
Over the years, the company grew from handling simple flatwork—driveways, footings, short walls—to complex residential projects, adding specialty finishes—colored, stamped, and exposed aggregate to commercial projects that include everything from parking lots to beautiful countertops in wineries. In 2022, OCI unveiled its custom Bellattex™ line of handcrafted concrete counters and tabletops, a signature offering, highlighting OCI’s artistry and continuing commitment to client vision and craftsmanship.
As they celebrate twenty-two years in business this year, Ortmann Concrete remains focused on to providing their customers with their best work every single time, whether it’s a walkway, a few steps, a pool deck, or a family heirloom quality dining room table.
What Makes OCI a Standout Concrete Company?
Mastery in Flatwork
From residential basements and garage floors to winding walkways and fire pits, OCI brings both functionality and flair to concrete work.
Bellattex™ Distinction
These are not your ordinary countertops. Crafted with customization in mind—stains like smoke, raw, and buck brown—each piece is reflective of personal style and built to last.
Qualifications and Awards
OCI is a proud member of the American Society of Concrete Contractors, ACI-certified, and honored with an Angie’s List Super Service Award. They maintain a 4.5 rating on Google, 98% recommendation by customers who sing their praises on Facebook, and an A+ from the BBB.
Rave Google Reviews from Clients: “Very responsive, great customer service, and highly competent. The patio they did in under a week has made our backyard 10x more fun to use. We never spent time out here because it was just a mud pit, until Doug and the Ortman team fixed it up.”
Celebrating 22 Years — With Gratitude and Ambition
Marking their 22nd anniversary on August 25, 2025, OCI shared heartfelt gratitude across social platforms: “Happy 22nd Anniversary to us! OCI turns 22 on 8/25/25! We are grateful you're here with us, watching us, supporting us. We are definitely looking forward to the next 22 years!”
The Ortmanns appreciation extends to every customer, community member, and partner who paved the way (that’s right, we went there!) for OCI’s success.
Why Their Story Feels So Meaningful
